Divide your area by the board width (in metres) to get linear metres, then divide by the board length to get the number of boards. Always allow extra for cuts and waste.

How much aggregate do I need?

Multiply the area by the depth (in metres) to get the volume in cubic metres, then multiply by the material density (typically 1.5 tonnes per cubic metre) to get the tonnage.
